Belsonic Belfast – 2021 COVID-19 Entry Requirements

In order to gain access to Belsonic events at Ormeau Park in September of 2021, ALL ticket holders will need to demonstrate their COVID-19 Status on entry by providing ONE of the following, listed below:

  • Proof of full vaccination - both doses received (with the second at least 14 days prior to the event you are attending)

    OR

  • Proof of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test taken no more than 48 hours prior to your arrival at the event you are attending

    OR

  • Proof of natural COVID antibodies based upon a positive NHS PCR test within 180 days of the event you are attending (including 10 days self-isolation following the result).
Tickets holders from Northern Ireland
If you are resident in Northern Ireland, you can demonstrate your COVID-19 status by doing any ONE of the following:
  1. Demonstrate proof of full vaccination by showing your COVID-19 Vaccination Card , that was issued to you when you received your vaccinations, at the entry gate. You must also show valid government issued Photo ID matching the name on your vaccination card.

    In the event you had cause to use the COVIDCert NI Passport App to obtain proof of full vaccination for travel purposes, this proof is also acceptable to use for entry.

    Other government issued proofs of full vaccination are also acceptable, provided you also produce valid government issued Photo ID.

    N.B. your proof of vaccination must reflect that you have had both doses of an NHS COVID-19 vaccine, and that your second dose was administered at least 14 days prior to the event you are attending.

  2. If you cannot demonstrate that you have received both doses of an NHS COVID-19 vaccination, you will need to take a NHS Lateral Flow test no more than 48 hours prior to your arrival at the event you are attending. Assuming the result is negative, you must then report the result online here and present your NHS email or text notification of your result at the entry gates.

  3. Alternatively, you can also gain entry by demonstrating Proof of natural COVID antibodies based upon a positive NHS PCR test within 180 days of the event you are attending (including 10 days self-isolation following the result). You must present this proof at the entry gates to gain admittance.
Ticket holders from Republic of Ireland
If you live in Republic Of Ireland, you can demonstrate your COVID-19 status using the EU Digital COVID Certificate (DCC):

Ticket holders from England
If you are resident in England, you can show your status easily via the NHS COVID Pass on the NHS App. For more information on how to do this, please see here.

We recommend that you screenshot or download a copy of your NHS COVID Pass to your smartphone prior to arrival so that you have it ready to show at the entry gates. Alternatively, you can print a copy and bring this with you.

If you don’t have access to a smartphone or computer, then you can call 119 to request a letter to demonstrate your vaccination status or online here. Please note that the letter can take up to 5 working days to reach you. This letter will be sent to the address registered with your GP.

If you cannot access your NHS COVID Pass or if you do not receive a vaccination status letter in time you will need to provide evidence of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test, by reporting the result at here and presenting your NHS email or text notification at the entry gates. The test must be taken no more than 48 hours before your arrival at the event you are attending.

Alternatively you can also gain entry by demonstrating Proof of natural COVID antibodies based upon a positive NHS PCR test within 180 days of the event you are attending (including 10 days self-isolation following the result).
Ticket holders from Scotland
If you live in Scotland, you can obtain your full vaccination status here.

If you do not receive the letter in time, you will need to provide evidence of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test, by reporting the result here and presenting your NHS email or text notification at the entry gates. The test must be taken no more than 48 hours before your arrival at the event you are attending.

Alternatively you can also gain entry by demonstrating Proof of natural COVID antibodies based upon a positive NHS PCR test within 180 days of the event you are attending (including 10 days self-isolation following the result).
Ticket holders from Wales
If you live in Wales, you can obtain your full vaccination status by following the instructions here.

If you cannot access your NHS COVID Pass you will need to provide evidence of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test, by reporting the result here and presenting your NHS email or text notification at the entry gates.The test must be taken no more than 48 hours before your arrival at the event you are attending.

Alternatively, you can also gain entry by demonstrating Proof of natural COVID antibodies based upon a positive NHS PCR test within 180 days of the event you are attending (including 10 days self-isolation following the result).
Other ticket holders (International)
All other ticket holders, not attending from any of the countries listed above, will be required to provide evidence of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test, by presenting your NHS email or text notification at the entry gates. The test must be taken no more than 48 hours before your arrival at the event you are attending.
How to upload your NHS Lateral Flow Test
If you are demonstrating your COVID-19 Status using an NHS Lateral Flow Test this should be taken the day prior to your arrival at the event you are attending. You can order NHS Lateral Flow Tests here.

Once you have taken your test, you will need to report your result on the NHS website here You will receive a text or email notification confirming your negative test result, to present on entry.

A positive result from an NHS Lateral Flow Test means it’s likely you had coronavirus when the test was done. You and anyone you live with must not attend the festival and self-isolate immediately. You are then advised to get a PCR test to confirm your result as soon as possible.
N.B. you must also have a valid Belsonic ticket to gain entry to the event you are attending, along with your proof of COVID Status.
